Staff will know what their responsibilities are and be encouraged to always be open and honest, including when things go wrong so that improvements can be made.

Staff are suitably trained in areas such as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty to ensure service users are involved in decisions about their human and legal rights and these are respected.

Staff will always ask for consent from the service user for care and support provided.

Staff are provided with ongoing training, support and supervision to ensure they deliver the very best of care.

All staff are recruited through a robust recruitment process, they undergo an induction and are suitably trained to carry their roles. All staff will be checked against the Disclosure and Barring Service.
